This is how we usually find Vienna the last few days, resting up for the big day.  Brad took her into the vet for her x-ray and Dr. Jeff says he sees a definite 7 puppies. Of course one may be hiding in there too :)
I will start taking her temp 2x a day now. A dogs temp normally ranges from 101 degrees to 102.5 degrees. Once her temp goes below 97-98 degrees she will whelp within 24 hours.

*Juneau (80 lbs) is our sealed female - she will be 2 in April 2021. Due to go into heat in April/May and we will breed her to Dakar.

*Dakar (70 lbs) is our mahogany fawn male - he will be 5 in June 2021.

*Vienna (50 lbs) is our brindle female - she will also be 5 in June 2021. She is due May 8th!

Vienna went into heat today. Within a week or two she will be receptive to Dakar. Once we see a tie, we will let you know an approximate due date :)

We updated the puppy area that the puppies grow into as they get older. We added a swing and partitioned off potty area.
